I'm Mark - I love dogs. I love happy dogs and confident owners who know how to understand their dog's needs. Sometimes, humans need help to get that understanding. A dog displaying unwanted behaviours is a classic sign of this. That's where I can help.
I have worked with dogs since I was small. I had a Border Collie cross called Sooty as a kid. He was epic, but it wasn't until I started working with dogs that I understood why. I understood him, and fulfilled his needs.
Many years on and with the 7+ years experience I have, I can help you understand what your dog is trying to tell you, and how to fulfil your dog to help them get the best out of their life, meaning you know how to get the best of them.

This generally takes place in your home environment, I want to see everything your dog does, warts and all. No acting, just what every day life looks like. This will help me establish where any issues lie.
I will then take your dog out to work with it for at least 15 minutes to see what the dog is like away from your home environment. This again, will help me identify and issues which occur while I am handling your dog.
Following my review of your pet's behaviour, I will work with you to understand your dogs needs which will help you to achieve a balanced dog, and this usually entails an action plan with user friendly advice that works, and follow up home visits to monitor progress.
I work with all sizes and breeds of dogs, and no challenge is too great or small.

Socialisation group walks
£15 a person
Do you know a group of people who are looking for help with their dogs in a controlled walking environment. This could be the solution for you. I can meet you all in one place and work with you and your dogs to help with all sorts of issues.
The walk which would usually be 30 minute to an hour long with lots of stimulation for the dogs. This allows me to show you how to enrich the walk and let your dog be a dog. This helps stimulate the senses to ensure they aren't just tired physically, but mentally too!

Advice that works
I have worked with many dogs, and advice given will be from the many years of experience I have gained and what I have learnt.
We will work at yours and your dogs pace, to ensure that you fully understand what we are aiming to achieve from the work I am asking you to do with your dog.
We will work on bringing balance back to your dog, understanding its needs. I will always ensure you are clear on the actions you and I need to take to achieve this.
The most important thing to me is ask as many questions as you need to!
